Blogger’s Night Out Miami!

Blogger’s Night Out Miami was this past Friday and I have to say, it was HOT! In more ways than one. But more on that later.

The soul sistahs (minus Maritza) (Hi Maritza!) (*waves*) and I arrived at the rooftop of The Betsy Hotel and were greeted by the super friendly folks of Blogger’s Night Out. We took our obligatory step and repeat photo and headed right over to the bar to get something to drink because it was HOOOOT. There was a complimentary bloggertini, but I stayed away for fear of melting into a puddle of sweat.

Lydi’Ann made a beeline for the I Spy DIY/Plastics Make It Possible table to design her own bag and Jessica went along to give moral support. I went around mingling with fellow Miami bloggers, taking pictures, chatting it up and trying to keep cool.

As the day came to a close, the Blogger’s Night Out team announced the winners of giveaways and contests that were going on throughout the day. And Lydi’Ann finally finished her masterpiece! The lovely folks of Blogger’s Night Out let her have the leftover arts and crafts. Lydi’Ann hasn’t been seen since. Lol! JK

Everyone received goodie bags filled with all kinds of treats: a $50 giftcard and Seafooly Austrailia notebook courtesy of Orchid Boutique [which Julissa and Adrienne shopped at during the latest episode of Empire Girls], a Schick Quattro Razor & Bikini Trimmer (yes!), Stephanie Johnson cosmetic bag, and Evologie and Dr. Loretta skincare products.

All in all this was a GREAT event, even though I got sooo hot by the end that I was literally dripping in sweat. lol. Light colored pants = no bueno! haha. Only me, right?
