Clothes You Can Actually Wear to a Job Interview

I love sifting through fashion magazines and websites as much as the next girl. But there are two things that I can never deal with: the $1 million scarf that is included as part of an outfit that is meant to be affordable and the unrealistic styling options for job interviews!

I get it – some people work in “creative” environments that allow feather boas and strappy sandals – but most of us don’t. So this post is for the folks who can’t show up in all neon polka dots but still like a little personality to shine through an outfit. These aren’t the most exciting pieces… but is a job interview really the appropriate place to be trying those out?

Here are my picks (each under $50 I might add!) that you can mix and match for interview outfits that will have you looking like a professional with pizzazz.

There’s something beautiful about showing a little restraint in your sartorial choices – and once you get the job, you can adjust your wardrobe accordingly!

  1. I have to say that these are pretty good choices for job interviews. I specifically like the jackets. we currently have this Crepe Slick Blazer by Staple from StyleCloset. As always, you give highly insightful advice and I give you props for coming up with items below 50USD. Cheers! 🙂
