#JIGImpact Recap

I think as women, it’s so easy to get swept up in the stereotype that all of us are catty and can’t support each other. So when events come around that celebrate our successes and genuinely serve to uplift, I’m all over it. Last week I attended Jazz In The Gardens Women’s Impact Conference & Luncheon and it was an amazing experience. I was able to meet some spectacular and inspiring ladies at this ultimate “girl’s day” event!

After attending the conference portion of the day, it was time to head over to the luncheon! Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club did an awesome job.

Left to right: Arugula salad; Beef, broccolli, and polenta (This was my first time trying polenta and it was pretty good!), dessert (I’m not sure what this was, but it was tasty!)

Some of the lovely volunteers who helped make the event a major success! It definitely wouldn’t have happened without them!

If you’re following us on IG you’ve probably already seen this picture: Me and Lisa Wu! It was great listening to her speak about her upcoming projects. Author, actress, realtor, designer — she has to be one of the queens of multitasking!

I had an awesome time at this event, even though I was having technical difficulties with my camera — luckily, my phone came to the rescue. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for next year’s Jazz in the Gardens Women’s Impact Conference and Luncheon!
