Spring-cleaning, TED, and You

As of March 20th, spring is officially here! And you know what that means.

Spring-cleaning.

spring, meadow

flowers, sunshine, #positivevibes

But I’m not just talking about rummaging through old clothes that’ll never see the light of day again and giving them to charity. Or actually just blasting the Spice Girls while pretending to clean the house

I’m talking about an internal spring-cleaning.

Just think about it. There’s no better time than the beginning of a new season to reorganize your thoughts, create some new goals for the next three months, and move toward bettering yourself.

Out with the old and in with the new, right?

And don’t think you have to go crazy with your aspirations for yourself. Start small!

Want to read more books? Join or create a small audio book club with some girlfriends. Need to eat healthier? Slowly replace bad foods with healthier alternatives. (I’m still working on this one myself.)

In the immortal words of Nina Simone, “it’s a new dawn. It’s a new day. It’s a new life.” Make it the best it can be.

And if you’re still unsure where to start, check out two of my favorite inspirational TED Talks that are sure to, well, inspire you this season!

What are your goals this season? Comment below and let us know!

XOXO,

Jessica

  1. Well. Did it in the first day of this year. Should I have to do it again? Just joking! You are right we have to do it every season so we can keep our head up and running. Debt free is the main goal so I read more, I work harder.
