Workout Gear: Hot Pants for a Hot Bod

I can’t believe that it’s already a little over a month into my senior year of college! I spent the first week of school as an Orientation Coordinator, a big step up from my position last year. As much as I love Orientation and running around in sparkly pants, it was definitely cutting into my semi-regular work out schedule.

This summer (which officially ended the 21st; where did the time go??) was the first time that I made strides to exercise frequently and I was actually beginning to see the results! But with Orientation duties and overall senior fun time, I had fallen off track. Luckily, I was recently mailed some hot pants from Zaggora and they’ve been helping me get out of my fitness funk.

Part scuba suit, part spaceship but definitely works

I’m sure that’s not what you thought I meant when I said hot pants, right? According to the manufacturers, the “Atomica HotPants use special fabric technology to boost calorie burn”. The pants fit very snugly across my stomach and although they were odd to wear at first, seeing the physiological changes has made it worth it.

At $95, the Zaggora Atomica HotPants are definitely an investment piece for your workout wardrobe, but I have to say that I like them a lot. Every time I’ve worn them, I’ve worked up quite a sweat due to the signature heating fabric. And I’m not sure if the Lycra waistband is meant to target the lower part of my abdomen, but I feel like it’s helped me tone that hard to reach area.

I think it’s safe to say though that they’re not magical pants that will slim you down if you don’t put in the work! You can check out the pants here and if you have any questions, let me know in the comments below! Do you wear anything special while working out?

XOXO,

Jess
